Children’s Advertising Features New Patient Ambassadors
Children’s Hospital & Medical Center is pleased to introduce two new patient ambassadors: Mason, age 4, and Grace, age 10. Look for them in Children’s advertising collateral and on displays in the elevators on the main campus. They were selected to represent unique services that distinguish Children’s as “The Best Place for Kids.” Grace is pictured with Sven, the area’s only resident facility dog, and Mason received care in Children’s NICU, the only Level IV unit in the region. The descriptions below, written for the advertising, help share their stories and highlight Children’s expertise.
Grace, age 10, Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Her IV pole in one hand, a leash in the other. That’s how Grace navigated chemotherapy – with Sven, our facility dog, by her side. An energetic fourth grader, Grace is in remission now. When she comes back for her check-ups, guess who sits and stays for a while…
Mason, age 4
Launched in life at Children’s Level IV NICU, this junior jet-setter really enjoys taking off – proof that complex medical issues don’t have to keep you down, especially when your journey includes a highly skilled team of neonatal critical care specialists, cardiologists, nurses and therapists.
